High-Dose Vitamin C

One antioxidant, at high doses

Abundant Life Wellness Center offers high-dose vitamin C IV therapy in Fort Worth, as part of our IV drip bar menu. IV therapy is a fast and effective way to deliver essential vitamins and nutrients directly into your bloodstream, and the High Dose Vitamin C Drip is that delivery applied to a single antioxidant, at high therapeutic doses. This important antioxidant offers an immune boost by shifting your body into an alkaline state. When given at high therapeutic doses, Vitamin C kills off unhealthy cells while at the same time supporting healthy cells. High dose Vitamin C eliminates accumulated toxins and detoxifies your body. The drip runs in three sizes — Small 10G at $150, Large 25G at $250, and X-Large 50G at $350 — and a G6PD blood test is required before the X-Large; the front desk arranges it. Be fully hydrated before your session, and the nurse will talk the rest through with you.

How it works

Before Your Appointment

01 · Choose your size. Large 25G or X-Large 50G — or call and describe what you’re after, and the front desk will point you to the right bag.

02 · Before you arrive. Be fully hydrated before your session — it makes the IV easier to place and easier to take. The X-Large Vitamin C drip requires a G6PD blood test first; the front desk arranges it.

03 · Settle in. The drip runs while you sit back in the chair.

Vitamin C Questions People Ask About High-Dose Vitamin C

What does a high-dose vitamin C IV cost?

The High Dose Vitamin C Drip is $250 for the Large 25G and $350 for the X-Large 50G. The standard Vitamin C Drip, at the everyday Small 10G dose, is $150. Boosters are $20 and vitamin shots are $30 if you want to add one.

What’s the difference between the High Dose Vitamin C Drip and the regular Vitamin C Drip?

The same important antioxidant, at a different dose. The Vitamin C Drip is the everyday Small 10G. The High Dose Vitamin C Drip is the Large 25G or the X-Large 50G — Vitamin C given at high therapeutic doses. Both are on the full drip menu.

Why do I need a G6PD blood test before the X-Large drip?

It is a safety requirement we hold to on our own menu: you must have a G6PD blood test prior to the X-Large Vitamin C Drip. The front desk arranges it, so call before you book that size and it will be sorted out ahead of your appointment. The Large 25G does not carry the same requirement.

How do I know which one is right for me?

You do not have to arrive knowing. The nurse will talk it through with you before anything is set up, and if you would rather sort it out first, call the front desk on 817-379-3770. A consultation is the place to settle which drip and which size fit what you are working on.

Is it covered by insurance?

While ALWC does not take health insurance, if your insurance plan has a flexible spending account or health savings account, check with your plan administrator to see if our services are covered for reimbursement.

Financing is available. CareCredit offers up to 24 months of no-interest financing on any of our services, with no minimum — you can apply directly. We also offer an interest-free four-payment plan. Full terms are on our financing page.
