Hair Restoration

Two options, in house

Abundant Life Wellness Center in Fort Worth offers two in-house, non-surgical pathways to restore hair for both men and women. Whether addressing early shedding, female hormonal thinning, or male pattern loss, our treatments combine regenerative cellular renewal with a whole-body, root-cause philosophy. The first option uses microneedling to deliver pure exosome serum across surface micro-channels with Rachel, our licensed aesthetician. The second gently delivers targeted exosome injections into deeper dermal layers with Sharon, our Family Nurse Practitioner. Both therapies are completed as a series of three sessions, spaced four to six weeks apart. Exosomes are microscopic messengers derived naturally from stem cells — carrying cellular growth factors and signaling proteins that help wake up dormant follicles and deeply nourish hair from the root up. Having both pathways under one roof means your consultation points you to the exact approach tailored to your hair and wellness goals.

Microneedling with Exosomes

This minimally-invasive therapy combines mechanical stimulation with advanced cellular renewal. Tiny, sterile needles create micro-channels in the surface of the scalp, allowing pure exosome serum to absorb deeply and stimulate the scalp’s natural healing response.

Best for: Early-stage thinning, general hair shedding, or maintaining optimal scalp vitality. The procedure involves minimal downtime, with a light pinkness or mild sunburn sensation for 24 to 48 hours.

Direct Exosome Injections

For targeted, deeply transformative delivery, exosome serum is gently injected directly into the deeper dermal layers where hair roots live. This provides a concentrated dose of cellular communication right at the source of the follicle.

Best for: Moderate to advanced hair loss, noticeable thinning, or localized balding. It is a quick, precise clinical procedure with virtually no downtime.

Because injections require a prescription, they are delivered by Sharon Krahn, our Family Nurse Practitioner. A medical consultation with Sharon is required to evaluate your scalp and determine your customized dosage. Sharon has real before-and-after photos from her own patients — ask to see them at your consultation.

Which Option Is Right for You?

Both options use regenerative exosomes to support hair vitality — the difference is the delivery depth and concentration. Surface microneedling supports early thinning, shedding, and scalp vitality, while direct injections target deeper follicles for moderate to advanced hair loss. For both pathways, lasting results are built through consistency: clients complete a series of three sessions spaced four to six weeks apart.

Healing from the inside out: Because vibrant hair reflects internal health, we also recommend pairing treatments with Functional Lab Testing. Evaluating your unique biochemistry helps uncover underlying roadblocks such as gut malabsorption or nutrient deficiencies (like iron, zinc, or B-vitamins) that may starve hair follicles.

Getting started is simple. Schedule a free consultation with Rachel for microneedling, or book an evaluation with Sharon for injection therapy. Call 817-379-3770 or book online to begin.

Hair Restoration Questions People Ask About Hair Restoration

Which of the two options should I choose?

It depends on your current stage of hair loss and personal goals. Microneedling with Rachel is best for early-stage thinning, general shedding, and supporting scalp vitality through surface micro-channels. Direct exosome injections with Sharon are tailored for moderate to advanced hair loss or localized thinning, delivering cellular messengers directly into deeper dermal layers. During your consultation, we evaluate your scalp to recommend the exact pathway tailored to you.

How many sessions will I need?

Both therapies are performed as a series of three sessions spaced four to six weeks apart. This cumulative approach allows follicles to stay in an active growth phase for sustained, long-term results.

What is the downtime and recovery like?

Microneedling involves minimal downtime, typically causing mild pinkness or a light sunburn sensation on the scalp for 24 to 48 hours. Direct exosome injections are a quick, precise clinical procedure with virtually no downtime — most clients resume normal daily activities immediately.

Why do you recommend Functional Lab Testing?

We believe vibrant hair is an external reflection of internal wellness. While exosomes provide the cellular signaling to stimulate dormant follicles, your body requires optimal nutritional building blocks to grow healthy hair. Functional lab testing evaluates hidden root causes — such as gut malabsorption or deficiencies in iron, zinc, and B-vitamins — to ensure your hair receives complete internal nourishment.

Are there before-and-after photos?

Yes — real ones, from our nurse practitioner’s own patients using the injections. Ask to see them at your consultation.

What does it cost?

Both options are priced as a series of three rather than per session, and the two series are priced differently — so a single figure here would be misleading about what it costs to actually do.

Rather than print a number that may not apply to you, we quote it at the consultation, once you know which option fits. Call 817-379-3770 and the front desk can give you the current pricing straight away.

Is it covered by insurance?

While ALWC does not take health insurance, if your insurance plan has a flexible spending account or health savings account, check with your plan administrator to see if our services are covered for reimbursement.

Financing is available. CareCredit offers up to 24 months of no-interest financing on any of our services, with no minimum — you can apply directly. We also offer an interest-free four-payment plan. Full terms are on our financing page.
