Abundant Life Wellness Center is at 4312 Heritage Trace Parkway, Suite 700, in Fort Worth, Texas 76244 — about 12.7 miles and about 20 minutes by TX 170 from the center of Westlake. Parking is on site and it is free. The entrance is the stone front with the practice name above the door and Suite 700 printed on the glass, so it is straightforward to pick out from the parking lot. If you are running late, or you cannot find the door, call 817-379-3770 and someone will answer and talk you in. Functional lab testing here starts with a conversation rather than a panel, and no referral is needed. Depending on the panel, the sample is saliva, stool, a blood draw or a finger stick, collected at the practice or at home. Results come with a thorough review rather than as numbers in an inbox — so a trip in from Westlake is the conversation at the start and the review at the end.

Testosterone, DHEA, cortisol and more in saliva. Useful where energy, mood, sleep, body composition or libido have shifted and a one-off blood testosterone reading has not explained it.
Gastrointestinal Panel
Stool
Digestion and absorption markers, the balance of gut bacteria and yeast, inflammatory markers, and the presence of parasites or pathogens. The panel behind most bloating, reflux and irregularity questions.

It depends on the test. The hormone panels use saliva, the gastrointestinal panel is a stool test, and food allergy testing is a blood draw — or a finger stick only for the 184 IgG version, child or adult. The NutrEval kit requires at home urine and blood samples.
For the 184 IgG + 25 IgE food allergy blood draw, yes — an additional lab draw fee applies. The front desk can tell you the current amount when you book.
While ALWC does not take health insurance, if your insurance plan has a flexible spending account or health savings account, check with your plan administrator to see if our services are covered for reimbursement.
