Weight Loss

Doing the things that are supposed to work, and watching them not work. That is usually information, not a failure of willpower.

What this can look like

How we approach it

Starting with what is actually going on

If eating less and moving more has not worked, the useful conclusion is not that you did it wrong. Thyroid function, insulin and blood sugar, cortisol, sex hormones and sleep all influence what the body does with food, and any of them can hold weight in place while effort goes in. So this starts with testing rather than with a plan, because a plan built on the wrong assumption is what most people have already tried. Depending on what comes back, the conversation might be about nutrition and blood sugar, hormone support, peptide therapy, or body composition work. We do not sell rapid results, we do not have a programme everyone goes on, and we will not tell you that this is about wanting it enough. What we will do is find out what is actually happening and be honest about how much of it we can help with.

Therapies worth exploring

Which of these makes sense depends on what the first conversation turns up. You do not have to choose one now.

Weight Loss Questions people ask

Is this a programme with a set length?

No. There is no standard package here, because the reasons weight will not move are not standard. What you do depends on what testing shows.

Will you tell me what I already know about diet and exercise?

We would rather not waste your time. If you have already done the obvious things, that is useful information and the conversation should start somewhere else.

Do you weigh people at every visit?

Only if that is useful to you. Body composition tells a more honest story than a single number, and some people would rather not track weight at all.

Not sure this is the right page?

Start with what you are noticing

Most people arrive with a symptom rather than a service in mind, and more than one of these pages will often sound familiar. That is normal — the concerns overlap because the body does. Browse all fifteen, or just call and describe it. You do not have to arrive with the right words.
