Infrared saunas are an effective tool for natural healing and prevention. Infrared light has the ability to penetrate human tissue which in turn produces a host of anti-aging health benefits making infrared saunas one of the “hottest” home therapies for overall healthier living. If you want to get yourself back into balance, the benefits of an infrared sauna may be just what you need to achieve your wellness goals.
What are the benefits of Infrared Sauna?
Infrared saunas may not only improve the appearance of acne scarring, but they may actually help reduce acne in the first place. Typical acne is caused by a build-up of oil on the skin, and if you produce a lot of oil, that can lead to constant breakouts. Infrared saunas cause you to sweat from infrared heat – not actual heat – which can help clean out those clogged pores. When a sauna session is complete, a quick face wash ensures the unclogged pores do not clog up again.
Infrared saunas are clinically proven to reach deeper levels into your skin, effectively removing toxins such as heavy metals. Our Solocarbon technology heats your body to the core, pulling out toxins that can clog your pores and lead to a host of health issues beyond just within your skin. Detoxification is important because it strengthens the body’s immune system and helps the body’s biochemical processes function efficiently so that we are better able to digest the nutrients in our foods. Researchers have long told us how the body sweats out toxic substances, including heavy metals. As long as you maintain proper hydration, the more you safely sweat, the more toxins you’ll expel from your body. In sauna detox, your body sweats out numerous toxins through pores.
Studies show that high levels of stress have great impact on the brain. From memory problems to anxiety to learning difficulties, the effects of stress on the mind are immense. Our infrared therapy soothes your mind by enveloping your body in relaxing warmth. Our saunas are designed for maximum comfort, allowing you to not only loosen your body, but loosen your mind.
Studies have shown that benefits of an infrared sauna session can burn upwards of 600 calories while you relax! As the body works to cool itself, there is a substantial increase in heart rate, cardiac output and metabolic rate, causing the body to burn more calories.
Infrared sauna heat penetrates tissue, joints and muscles to relieve anything from minor aches and pains to chronic pain conditions such as fibromyalgia. Pain management professionals incorporate infrared sauna heat therapy into treatment plans to decrease pain and muscle spasms and to speed up recovery time.
Sunlighten infrared saunas induce a deep sweat to make the heart pump faster, which in turn increases blood flow, lowers blood pressure and helps circulation. Scientific evidence shows the infrared sauna benefits using a Sunlighten infrared sauna a couple times a week lowers blood pressure.
Heating the muscles with infrared rays produces an increase in blood flow similar to that seen during exercise. Regular infrared sauna use – especially in the mid infrared range – can significantly stimulate blood flow up to twice the normal rate.
The near infrared wavelengths are the most effective wavelengths for healing the epidermis and dermis layers of the skin. Near infrared treatments stimulate collagen production to reduce wrinkles and improve overall skin tone.
Scientific research has concluded that near infrared therapy greatly enhances the skin’s healing process by promoting faster cell regeneration and human tissue growth. Human cell growth increases to repair wounds and prevent infection.
Near infrared light therapy stimulates the circulatory system and more fully oxygenates the body’s cells. Better blood circulation means more toxins flow from the cellular level to the skin’s surface to improve cell health, aid in muscle recovery and strengthen the immune system.
