Our TOMA AcuGlow™ treatment uses the energy balancing techniques of Chinese Medicine to address systemic imbalances leading to skin concerns. Oftentimes what concerns clients have about their skin indicates an imbalance in their internal energy, which can be addressed with acupressure to help skin glow with vitality from the inside out. During the AcuGlow, clients will receive the blood circulating and detoxifying benefits of gua sha, a gentle facial massage with our bian stone sculpting tool and Sculpting Treatment Oil. Often referred to as “facial sculpting,” gua sha smooths fine lines and wrinkles, plumps, tightens and rejuvenates skin. Small silicone cups are then used to de-puff and brighten with what we love to describe as feeling like “baby octopus kisses.” The cups glide over the skin and gently lift the facial tissue, resulting in increased blood circulation as well as stimulation and draining of the lymph nodes. The European Facial
The European facial consists of a thorough, deep cleansing of the face and neck. After cleaning the face and removing makeup and impurities , we exfoliate the skin to remove dead skin cells. Next, we perform an extraction procedure to deep clean the skin, followed by disinfection to have the skin even cleaner. Finally, a mask is applied to hydrate and condition the skin. In addition, the European facial includes a 20 minute massage intended to promote relaxation. Symptoms necessitating a European facial may include clogged pores, fine lines, age spots, blemishes , or dry skin with uneven tones.
